Most of you know Liquid Vision Industries (LVI) from the FlexComb®. Since then, LVI has co-branded / private labeled our products for many big name companies in the industry. Our company vision is to continue to innovate the industry by creating and manufacturing more user and environmentally friendly products for the extreme sports industry… In that regard, we present for your viewing pleasure the meanest hybrid ever! The Liquid Vision Surf Assault Vehicle (SAV). The SAV is the surfers dream ride… it is a completely transformed, purpose built, eco-friendly SUV.
SAV is Eco-friendly: Liquid Vision has always been in line with the surfing market’s environmental concerns, the company has utilized recycled plastic in the manufacturing of all its products since the beginning, we are very proud to say every FlexComb® ever manufactured is made from recycled plastic!
So now you say to yourself, how could this monster of an SUV be in line with our
environmental concerns? This latest Liquid Vision venture is another example of how we
continue to push the limits, finding new ways to raise the bar always thinking outside of the box.
This is no run of the mill Nissan Armada, the SAV is out fitted with a H.E.S.S. Generator (Hydrogen Energy Support System) whereby the generation of hydrogen begins concurrently with the ignition of the engine and this system injects hydrogen gas into the intake of the motor along with gas causing the fuel to burn much for efficiently and in the process reducing emissions to a negligible amount. The by-product of this clean burning eco friendly system is reduced fuel consumption and almost zero emissions that are equal to that of a 50cc scooter!

We are not so presumptuous to suppose that we will see an eco friendly SAV in every driveway by 2009. But what we do know is with Precision Off Road now teamed up with Liquid Vision Industries, our combination of experience, goals, and vision have now raised the bar by creating something that did not exist previously, sharing it with the world to help to continue to push for new and innovative ways to lessen our ecological footprint.
SAV Specifications
This is not just another truck with a logo that captures the attention of a narrow demographic. The SAV does not do narrow, go along quietly, nor is it selective about who it captures. It grabs the attention of all who see it, male, female, young and old. It is built to leave an impression and burns an image that is not forgotten. It has no rival, other vehicles sporting company logos seem anemic and pale by comparison.
The Liquid Vision Surf Assault Vehicle (SAV) is action incarnate; it’s what the demographic group that makes up our market would love to drive to work every day. Brian Hess and his team at Precision Off Road Engineering, a San Diego custom fabrication shop, put many hours into the modification and creation of this vehicle for Liquid Vision. With a three week lead time for completion there was no time for mistakes and even lees time for sleep. Hess loves what he does and definitely shows… The result of his creativity is a piece of rolling art. Form and function become one.
Need a place to position a photographer or spotter? Easily climb onto the roof and set up your gear on a 4′x7′ platform that has outlets for both 12 and 120 volt in the event your equipment or stereo needs a little juice. It does not take much imagination to see that this platform has extended uses; its highest and most aesthetic application would be for the SAV bikini contest, should I be so bold as to suggest such a thing. Done in the water, ready to dry off and pack up? Not only does the back of the vehicle store and secure your boards but the hatch is equipped with a self contained fresh water shower to rinse off both you and your equipment. Hang your wet suits in the (soak locker). The moisture is contained in the vented locker drying your suits as you travel to the next surf spot. We don’t worry about getting a little sand or water in this car in fact we expected such things, it’s easy to clean, go drive through the car wash with the windows down! For the ride, you might as well be comfortable. Turn on the A/C, crank up the stereo, watch a DVD and let the GPS make sure you get where you want to go. A built in cooler keeps your refreshments cold and a hidden lock box keeps your valuables safe. It seats four in the cabin, belted down in full race harnesses, protected by a full Baja ready roll cage. Did I mention the GPS will get you wherever you want to go? Well, we aren’t kidding when we say (wherever). This truck has no need for a road, in fact it prefers ones without pavement, and it is at its best flying over open terrain. Underneath the arsenal of surf gear and creature comforts beats the heart of this beast. The suspension is the same type used by (Trophy Trucks) that lope across the desert at 100+ mph. A 3-link system makes up the rear configuration, triple by-pass shocks and dual rate coil overs are mounted on each trailing arm. As if that’s not enough, hydraulic bump stops, a lateral torsion bar, limit straps and terrain devouring tires finish off the package that completely hides the fact that you just went over 3 foot whoops at 65 mph. In the front the A-Arm suspension has been modified as well and that wide mean stance is all about business. Plenty of shocks up here as well, with double by-pass and coil overs on each side not to mention hydraulic bump stops and limit straps that balance out this trucks smooth performance.
When it gets dark on your way home from the outback, you might need a little light… hit the switch and you have 10 off road lights coming to life that turn midnight into noon. Blast some light on your beach party or even illuminate the breakers for a crazy night surf session!
